Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful, and dedicated Education / Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic, multi-cultural educational community. This position plays a crucial part in supporting teachers and students by aiding students in their learning journey, maintaining a stimulating and supportive environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the school.

Tasks and Responsibilities

- Supporting teachers in preparing materials and equipment necessary for classes
- Helping with pupils’ learning and development including supporting students with special educational needs
- Assisting with classroom management, maintaining an organized and clean classroom
- Aiding in the implementation of curriculum and lesson plans
- Engage in continuous professional development activities
- Perform other school-related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Education or a closely related field with a minimum of two years of experience in an educational setting. Fluency in Portuguese and English is necessary. Additionally, a teaching qualification recognized in Portugal will be considered an advantage. Excellent communication skills, initiative, and a genuine interest in education are also significant attributes of an ideal candidate.
