As a kitchen intern, you will be challenged to utilize and develop your skills while being closely supervised by our experienced staff in a professional and dynamic environment.

Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to assist our culinary team. You will prepare food according to recipes, perform cooking tasks under the direction of the Chef, assist with meal preparation, and ensure that the overall kitchen cleanliness standards are maintained. Additionally, you will be required to develop and test new recipes, ensure that kitchen inventory is efficiently managed and participate in the planning and preparation of our specialty dishes.

Job Requirements

You must be currently enrolled in an accredited culinary institution, gastronomy program, or a recent graduate. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not a requirement. Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills, and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures is required. You must be able to communicate in both Portuguese and English.

Personal Requirements

The ideal candidate must have a passion for food and cooking with a keen eye for freshness, quality, and cleanliness. You must be a fast learner, able to multi-task and demonstrate composure under pressure. Punctuality, professionalism, excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills are also expected.
