Job Description - Reception / Reservations Intern

As a Reception/Reservations Intern, you will be responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and professional service to our guests. You will work directly under the Reception Manager, taking charge of critical front desk operations and reservation bookings.

Your tasks will include ensuring a seamless guest check-in and check-out process, managing room reservations and cancellations, answering guest inquiries about hotel services and local attractions, and maintaining updated information on room availability, rates, and special offers in the reservation system. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks as required, organise hotel services for guests, and participate in staff meetings and training sessions to improve service delivery.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be currently enrolled in a hospitality, tourism, or related degree programme, have excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English, and display a strong commitment to customer service. Previous experience in a hotel reception or reservations role is preferred, but not required. Proficiency in using hotel management software and MS Office applications is also desirable.
