About the Internship
We're currently on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated interns with a passion for animation and a keen interest in the entertainment industry. This internship opportunity is based in the historic city of Guimaraes, Portugal. Known as the "cradle of the nation," Guimaraes offers a rich history, stunning architecture, and a vibrant cultural scene, serving as the perfect backdrop for your creative journey.
Tasks & Responsibilities
-Support the animation team in content creation and production
-Create and develop characters, set, and props based on the guidance of the senior animators
-Collaborate in storyboard creation and concept development
-Contribute to post-production processes including editing, sound design, and final revisions
-Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
Job Requirements
-Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a related degree such as Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design or equivalent
-Understanding and experience in using animation software such as Adobe Animate, Maya, Blender, etc
-Strong drawing, sketching and rendering skills
-Basic understanding of animation principles and techniques
-Ability to work well in a team as well as individually
Personal Requirements
-Passion for animation and storytelling
-Highly creative and imaginative
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Detail-oriented and organized approach
-Ability to handle constructive criticism and make revisions
-Proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
