Job Description

Our language school is well-recognized for its commitment to delivering high-quality language instruction. We are seeking an English Teaching Assistant who will foster a dynamic, student-centred learning environment. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in the planning and delivery of English lessons in line with the school curriculum
- Supporting students in their development of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
- Providing detailed feedback on student performance and progress
- Assisting with administrative tasks including exam preparation and grading
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Job Requirements

The suitable applicant must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in English, Education or related fields. Additional qualifications, such as a CELTA or TEFL certification, will be a distinct advantage. The candidate should have a minimum of 1-year experience teaching English as a second language, preferably in a classroom setting. Knowledge of Portuguese is desirable but not mandatory.

As an English Teaching Assistant, you should be passionate about language education and possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to inspire and motivate students, along with a patient and flexible approach, is essential. You should also be comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
