Internship Opportunity
We are currently looking for a dedicated, proactive and innovative intern to join our Funchal team in the role of Food and Beverage Intern. This opportunity promises a hands-on experience in the thriving food industry, enabling valuable industry and career insights during the internship period.
Responsibilities
As a Food and Beverage Intern, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in managing operations within the food and beverage department.
- Contributing towards menu development and ensuring food hygiene standards are maintained.
- Assisting in maintaining inventories and managing suppliers.
- Researching food and beverage trends and customer preferences.
- Helping to coordinate and manage event catering.
- Working closely with the marketing team on promotional activities.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Food Science, Hospitality Management, Business Management or related fields.
- Passionate about food and beverage industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus.
