Task Description
As a Reception/Reservations intern, the successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs proficiently.
- Ensure smooth running of daily reservations operations.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments to maintain excellent guest service.
- Assist in managing the Front of House operation, ensuring consistent delivery of superior customer service.
- Gain a deep understanding of our reservation system and manage bookings effectively.
- Handle inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Job and Personal Requirements
To be considered for this position:
- You should be enrolled in a related degree program, such as hospitality or tourism.
- Excellent command of English and Portuguese is mandatory, and knowledge of additional languages will be considered a plus.
- Experience in a similar position will be esteemed but is not necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of hospitality practices and principles.
