Description

Job Responsibilities
- Assist the lead French teacher in planning and conducting interactive French lessons that meet curriculum standards
- Prepare teaching aids for classes and arrange the learning material in a manner conducive to learning
- Assess students’ performance, provide constructive feedback and maintain a supportive learning environment
- Organize and monitor student engagements, including one-on-one sessions to understand individual difficulties and weaknesses
- Create a positive, stimulating and interactive classroom environment to facilitate student participation
- Maintain accurate student attendance records and report absences or behavioral issues to the lead French teacher
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education, French or related field from a recognized institution
- Previous experience as a French teaching assistant or similar role
- Outstanding understanding of French grammar, vocabulary, and culture
- Proficient level in English and/or Portuguese to communicate effectively with staff and students
- Exceptional organizational skills and a creative approach towards teaching
- Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and an enthusiastic temperament
