Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Educational / Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The responsibilities of this position will include:
- Supporting students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments.
- Assisting in the preparation of lesson materials and teaching aids.
- Helping maintain classroom discipline and a conducive learning environment.
- Assisting in the planning, execution, and assessment of school events and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborating with teachers in monitoring students' academic and behavioral progress.
- Maintaining clear communication between teachers and parents regarding students’ progress.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant will need to fulfill the following requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Education or a teaching-related field.
- Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role would be advantageous.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese, both oral and written.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with young learners and manage classroom dynamics.
- Commitment to inclusive education and values-based learning.
- An up-to-date criminal background check.
