Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an English Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will support our qualified teachers in delivering English language lessons, creating educational materials, grading student work, and nurturing a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation
- Conducting one-on-one sessions with students to reinforce learning of material
- Supporting students with homework and additional activities
- Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive classroom environment
- Maintaining accurate student records, including grades and attendance
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a degree in English Language or Teaching, coupled with a TEFL/TESOL certification. Prior teaching experience is also desirable. Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus, but not required.
