Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Events Management Intern to assist our team in Faro, Portugal. This immersive internship will provide you with hands-on experience in all aspects of event planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of various events including conferences, private parties, and exhibitions.
• Conduct research on venues, vendors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Support the marketing team in promoting events through social media and other marketing channels.
• Help with logistical arrangements, including transportation, catering, and equipment rentals.
• Participate in on-site setup and management during events to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement creative ideas for themed events.
• Maintain communication with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Events Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
• Passion for events, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
