Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic English Teaching Assistant to join our school in Faro. This role involves supporting the lead teacher in delivering effective English lessons, creating a conducive and inclusive environment for all students, and assessing the progress of each student.

Primary tasks include:

-Assisting the lead teacher in preparing and facilitating English lessons.
-Monitoring learners' progress and providing constructive feedback.
-Marking assignments, tests, and quizzes.
-Contributing to the creation of lesson plans and curriculum development.
-Coordinating with the teaching team to implement best educational practices.
-Supervising indoor and outdoor activities related to the curriculum.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

-Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in English, Education or a related field.
-TEFL/TESOL certificate or equivalent is a must.
-Previous experience as a teaching assistant or related role is highly desirable.
-Proficient in using modern teaching tools and practices.
-Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
