Job Description

The selected candidate will gain substantial experience in various aspects of culinary expertise. The role involves:

- Assisting the Head Chef in daily tasks such as preparing ingredients, cleaning kitchen equipments and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Learning how to prepare local and international dishes.
- Participating in brainstorming for the menu and creating innovative dishes.
- Understanding the nuances of kitchen inventory management.
- Gaining exposure and understanding of maintaining industry standards in food safety and hygiene.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position is expected to have:

- Solid culinary knowledge, with a focus on both traditional and contemporary cooking techniques.
- Strong dedication to achieve exceptional levels of food quality, service, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English. Knowledge of Portuguese would be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Currently studying toward or recently graduated from a Culinary Arts degree or related field.
