Job Description

As a French Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include assisting the French teacher in lesson preparation, providing individual help to students struggling with the language, and grading assignments under the supervision of the teacher. Additionally, you will be required to communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and provide targeted strategies for improvement.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in French language studies or a related field, though a Master's degree would hold a clear advantage. A minimum of one year of experience assisting in a French language classroom is required. You should possess excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to create a friendly, inclusive environment that respects diversity. Fluency in French and proficiency in English are indispensable, whereas knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
