Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of English language instruction for various levels and age groups. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the lead teacher in creating lesson plans and curricula
  • Assisting in classroom management and teaching activities
  • Providing one-on-one assistance to students having difficulty with English
  • Grading assignments and providing feedback to students
  • Monitory student progress and communicating effectively with parents

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in English, Education or a related discipline
  • Solid understanding of TEFL methodologies, with TEFL certification being a plus
  • Previous experience in a teaching or tutoring role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High degree of flexibility and creativity in teaching methods
