Internship Opportunity: Events Co-ordination and Management, Coimbra, Portugal

An esteemed and multinational organization, known for its high-profile events, exhibitions, and conferences in various industries, is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Events Intern for its Coimbra, Portugal location. The company, having an established presence across continents, is renowned for implementing groundbreaking ideas and fostering a platform for innovation.

Tasks Description:

The selected candidate will assist in the entire event lifecycle, including pre-event planning, on-site event coordination, and post-event evaluation. The intern will also be responsible for:

-Directly communicating with vendors and stakeholders.
-Assisting in the creation and delivery of event schedules.
-Assisting in the coordination and logistic implementation of events.
-Participation in event promotion strategies.
-Ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
-Liaising with venues and suppliers for event-related mandates.
-Helping in event registration, attendee tracking, and preparing event reports.

Job Requirements:

Applicants should be currently enrolled in, or have completed, an undergraduate degree course related to Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field. Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience in project management and event coordination software would be a plus.

Personal Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively. Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, both written and verbal, are crucial. Strong problem-solving abilities, working well under pressure, teamwork, and adaptability are key traits.
