Job Description
The English Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Assisting main instructors in planning and executing engaging and interactive English classes
- Supporting students in developing English proficiency, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
- Creating a dynamic learning environment and resource materials
- Marking assignments and providing constructive feedback
- Assisting in assessment design and execution
- Participating in school events, workshops, meetings, and seminars
Job Requirements
Required qualifications and skills include:
- A bachelor’s degree in education, linguistics, or a related field
- TEFL/TESOL Certification is preferred
- Previous experience in teaching English as a second language
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
