We have an excellent opportunity for an English Teaching Assistant in a prestigious language school based in the culturally-rich city of Coimbra, Portugal. Role and Responsibilities

You will assist in planning, preparing and delivering high-quality English language lessons catering to various skill levels. The role entails conducting language proficiency assessments, providing constructive feedback to students, aiding with language labs, and assisting with classroom management. In addition, you will be responsible for administrative tasks such as grading assessments, maintaining student records, and collaborating with faculty to develop course material and curriculum.

Job Requirements

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field. A minimum of 2 years experience in teaching English, preferably in a multilingual setting is required. Familiarity with different teaching methodologies and TESOL / TEFL / CELTA certification will be highly regarded. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Knowledge of Portuguese or other languages will be a valuable addition.
