Job Description
The French Teaching Assistant will assist in delivering French language classes, create a vibrant learning environment, and provide support for teaching staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Support teachers in planning and delivering French language lessons
- Help monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback
- Assist in the creation and implementation of interactive classroom activities
- Maintain classroom resources and materials
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and professional development opportunities
Job Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who brings enthusiasm and professionalism to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature or related field
- Teaching certification for French and experience in teaching is preferred
- Fluency in French language (native or C2 level)
- Proficient in English or Portuguese to facilitate communication
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Patient, adaptable, and passionate about teaching
