A renowned educational institution located in Coimbra, Portugal, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Education / Teaching Assistant. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting teachers in planning and preparing lessons.
- Supporting students individually and in groups to assist them in learning activities.
- Facilitate classroom activities, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
- Record and report students' progress and other relevant information.
- Contribute to the control of resources and supplies within the classroom.
- Supporting children with educational and social development, individually and in groups
- Collaborating with teachers and parents to optimize students' development and learning.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Education or related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Assistant Teacher.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Pedagogical skills, demonstrating strong knowledge in various teaching methods.
- Exceptional understanding of childhood development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Approachability and patience with students and ability to motivate them.
- Time management and organizational skills are crucial.
