Job Vacancy: Education / Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Education / Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. This role focuses on supporting teachers with their educational responsibilities and ensuring a conducive learning environment for all learners.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting teachers in planning and executing daily lessons and activities.
Supporting students in their learning processes by clarifying concepts and addressing individual difficulties.
Helping manage classroom behavior and creating an environment conducive to learning.
Preparation of educational materials and resources.
Providing individual support to students with special educational needs.
Assisting with grading work and recording academic progress where necessary.
Facilitating liaising between teachers and parents to foster recommended home practices enhancing the educational experience.

Key Qualifications and Personal Requirements

A degree in education or a relevant field; a higher qualification will be considered an advantage.
Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.
Excellent understanding of child development and learning processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Flexibility and creativity in implementing educational strategies.
Proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking; knowledge of additional languages will be a plus.
Clearance from local authorities to work with children.
