Job Description

We are in search of a highly motivated, organised, and experienced Teaching Assistant. The selected individual will be responsible for aiding with the delivery of the syllabus under the supervision of our professors. Duties will typically involve preparing materials for lessons, monitoring and appraising student progression, responding to students' questions, marking students' work, and contributing to the pastoral care of children. Additional responsibilities include managing class behaviours, leading smaller study sessions, and contributing to extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Successful candidates must possess at minimum a Bachelor’s degree. Experience in a similar role, preferably within a school setting, is highly desirable. Knowledge of the Portuguese education system is essential. Proficiency in both Portuguese and English is required to facilitate communication in our multilingual classrooms. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should possess excellent organisational skills, an ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure environment, and a genuine passion for education. Bonus attention will be given to applicants with certified teaching credentials and a first aid certification.
