Position: Reception/Reservations Internship

Our company, based in Braga, Portugal, is seeking an individual with a keen interest in hospitality for an internship position with us. This role will focus on Reception/Reservations, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience within the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meeting, greeting, and attending to the needs of guests to ensure a superb customer service experience.
• Assisting in managing reservations by using the company’s reservations system.
• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
• Responding to client queries in a timely and effective manner.
• Supporting the reservations team with administrative duties, such as preparing invoices and managing databases.

Qualifications and Skills

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university or accredited school, preferable in a hospitality or tourism program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese; a third language is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professionalism and strong customer service skills, ability to manage challenging client situations with patience and diplomacy.
