Job Description

We are keen to hire a Spanish Teaching Assistant whose main responsibility will be to aid and support our lead Spanish teacher in conducting classes. Tasks include preparing lesson plans, creating teaching materials, assisting in conducting interactive learning sessions, grading assignments, providing constructive feedback to students, setting up and managing language labs, organizing cultural activities, and contributing to the overall learning experience of our students.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or a related field. Experience in the field of teaching or tutoring is desired. They must possess a strong understanding of the Spanish language, culture, and literature. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and good command over English is mandatory. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity.

Personal Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about teaching, open-minded and eager to learn about and embrace different cultures. The candidate should be organized, punctual, responsible, and able to work both independently and within a team. Creativity and enthusiasm for making language learning fun and engaging is a must. They should also have a patient and motivating approach to managing students of different ages and levels of knowledge.
