Job Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable English Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and international team. This role presents a wonderful opportunity to work within a supportive team, nurturing future linguists, and inspiring a love for the English language among students.

Responsibilities include:

- Supporting students in developing their English language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking)
- Preparing classroom materials and assisting lead teachers in lesson implementations
- Helping in the monitoring of student progress through regular assessments
- Promoting an engaging and motivating classroom environment conducive for learning English
- Participating in educational events, training programs, and staff meetings

Job Requirements:

- A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in English Language or Education
- TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; ability to speak Portuguese is a plus
- Good understanding of effective teaching methodologies, tools, and resources
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
