Job Description

Your primary role as an English Teaching Assistant would include supporting the lead instructors in developing comprehensive, engaging, and interactive English lessons. The responsibilities range from assisting in grading assignments, maintaining classroom discipline, to facilitating group discussions and activities.

Main Tasks

  • Assisting in preparation and delivery of English lessons for various proficiency levels.
  • Providing individual support to students struggling with the language.
  • Maintaining records of student progress to evaluate effective learning.
  • Contributing to designing evaluations and monitoring student progress.
  • Supporting the leading teacher in creating an immersive English-speaking environment.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching English as a Foreign or Second Language.
  • Strong command over English grammar, diction, and spelling.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with TEFL/TESOL certification.
  • Basic understanding of Portuguese would be beneficial.
