Job Description

The Spanish Teaching Assistant will work collaboratively with our team of experienced language educators to support the delivery of our Spanish program. Main tasks will include:

  • Assisting lead teachers in planning and executing lessons that engage students and inspire language learning.
  • Preparing and tutoring small group and individual students to supplement classroom instruction.
  • Maintaining records of student progress and providing feedback to further student growth.
  • Participating in staff meetings, workshops, and continuing professional development activities.
  • Contributing to a positive learning environment that respects and values different cultures.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum BA degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics or equivalent field.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and a strong command of English.
  • Prior experience in a teaching or tutoring role.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
