Job Description
The successful candidate will provide in-classroom support to the teacher, ensuring a conducive and efficient learning environment for students. Key tasks include but are not limited to :
- Assisting the teacher in developing lesson plans and materials
- Supporting classroom management and behavioral interventions
- Helping students with learning difficulties and providing one-on-one tutoring
- Maintaining classroom resources and equipment
- Assisting in school events, such as Parent-Teacher Meetings and school trips
Job Requirements
Applicants should meet the following prerequisites:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education preferred); a teaching certification is a plus
- At least 2 years’ experience in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Proficient in both English and Portuguese
