Role Description

The intern will assist in carrying out a broad variety of duties focusing on dietetics and nutrition, which include:

• Assisting registered nutritionists in nutritional counselling sessions.
• Developing customized meal plans based on clients' dietary requirements and preferences.
• Analysis of nutritional content in meals and suggesting improvements.
• Aiding in the planning and conducting of educational seminars and workshops on topics related to nutrition and dietetics.
• Compiling and analyzing dietary intake information from clients.
• Performing administrative duties like scheduling appointments, maintaining client files, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications

Candidates must be recent graduates or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Nutrition and Dietetics. You should have a strong interest in nutritional education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Knowledge of nutrition analysis software is a plus.
