Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Education / Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will provide support to our dedicated teaching staff, contribute to developing an enriching learning environment, and assist in managing classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the teacher in planning and implementing lesson plans and managing classroom activities.
  • Working closely with students, aiding those with particular needs to ensure they achieve their full potential.
  • Helping with the evaluation of student progress and the provision of constructive feedback.
  • Contributing to the creation and maintenance of a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as maintaining student records, grading assignments, and organizing school events.
  • Participating in teacher-parent meetings, reporting on individual student progress.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Education or a discipline related to the subject you'll be assisting in teaching.
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong empathy and excellent communication skills, both in Italian and English.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrable passion for teaching and youth development.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with other educators.
