The successful candidate will serve as the main support to the main classroom teacher. Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate small group or individual classroom activities under the guidance of the main teacher
- Assist in preparing classroom materials and lesson plans
- Help manage student behavior and ensure the learning environment is safe and conducive
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining student records, grading papers and other clerical duties
- Communicate with parents about students' progress and behavior
- Provide extra support to students with special educational needs
Interested candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Education) or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or a similar role
- Proficiency in Italian and English
- First Aid Certification
- A solid understanding of child development
