We are an esteemed Language school based at the heart of Verona, a city in northern Italy’s Veneto region, known for its artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas. Our school offers an array of language programs designed for learners at different stages. Currently, we are seeking to hire a qualified German Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Tasks Description

The chosen candidate will be tasked with assisting in teaching and preparing course materials for our German language students. As a teaching Assistant, you will be needed to assist in implementing lesson plans as provided by the main instructor. The role includes checking students' homework, conducting tutoring sessions, administering student assessment and providing feedback, maintaining student attendance records, and providing the necessary support during the conducting of practical sessions.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in German Language or any related field from a recognized institution. Holding an advanced degree in education or German studies will be an added advantage. At least 2-3 years of experience teaching German at elementary, middle school, or high school level is required. Proficiency in English and Italian languages is mandatory to enable proper communication within the institution. You should possess knowledge of different learning styles and how to accommodate the diversity in the classroom. Familiarity with the Italian educational system is a plus.
