Internship Opportunity: Event Planning and Management Intern

Our illustrious organization, a pacesetter in the Events industry, is based in the historic city of Turin, Italy. We specialize in major events including corporate meetings, exhibitions, special events, and conventions. We are acclaimed for our unique, innovative, and execution prowess in organizing and handling global events.

The Role

We seek an ambitious, hardworking, and dynamic intern to join our Event Planning team. The Intern will report directly to the Event Planning Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution stages of event management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the conceptualization, planning, and coordinating of a range of events.
  • Support in supplier sourcing and negotiation.
  • Aid in design elements including theme development, venue decoration, and setting up.
  • Support in creating event itineraries and in ensuring the effective budget management.
  • Assisting in risk assessment and crisis management.
  • Engaging in on-site management and post-event evaluations.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate should be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, preferably in Event Management, Public Relations, Hospitality, Marketing or a similar field. They should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additional requirements include excellent communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a multicultural team, be creative, proactive, and have a ‘can-do’ attitude. A strong interest in the industry, problem-solving skills, the ability to thrive under pressure, and a passion for delivering high-quality events are highly desirable.
