We're looking to add a dedicated and dynamic French Teaching Assistant to our team.
Position Description
The French Teaching Assistant supports our Lead French Teacher in all aspects of classroom activities. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of French lessons to a variety of age groups and proficiency levels
- Evaluating students' progress and providing constructive feedback
- Helping create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Supporting students with their individual learning needs and fostering a love for the French language and culture
- Collaborating with the wider school community on cultural festivals and language immersion events
Job Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in French or a related field
- A minimum of one year experience in teaching French or in a similar role
- Proficiency in both French and English
- Knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
