English Teaching Assistant Vacancy in Turin, Italy
We are an internationally recognised language school located in the beautiful city of Turin, renowned for delivering high-quality English language teaching. Our students range from young learners to adults, promoting a multicultural and engaging learning environment. We are seeking an English Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic and professional team to inspire students by providing innovative and interactive lessons.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering English language classes for different levels ranging from beginners to advanced students.
- Facilitate stimulating conversation classes to enhance students' spoken English skills.
- Prepare materials, including interactive and digital resources, to engage students in learning English.
- Maintain accurate student records including attendance, progress, and assessment results.
- Offer support to students on a one-to-one or small-group basis to help them overcome any learning difficulties.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Education, Linguistics, or a related field. TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is required.
- Previous experience in language teaching, preferably in an EFL/ESL context.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with a native level of proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
- Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that respects diversity and encourages student participation.
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with digital learning platforms.
