Description of Role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Education/Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role involves directly supporting the teaching and learning process, working closely alongside teachers and students in the classroom. The Education/Teaching Assistant is an integral part of our school family and plays a critical role in enhancing the educational experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting the teacher in planning and preparing learning materials and resources.
- Providing support to students individually or in small groups to assist in their understanding of lesson content.
- Helping to maintain a constructive, organised and stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Ensuring the safety and welfare of students is maintained at all times.
- Contributing to the evaluation of student progress through observation and documentation.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate would hold a diploma in Teaching Assistant/Education Studies or a related field. Fluency in both Italian and English is desirable but not compulsory. Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly with children, is highly advantageous.
