A well-respected international theatre company based in Pisa, Italy, with a reputation for producing forward-thinking, boundary-pushing productions, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Acting Intern for a unique opportunity to learn and grow within the industry.

Job Description

As an Acting Intern, you will actively participate in our production process from rehearsals to performances. You will gain hands-on experience in professional acting by participating in company readings, assisting staff actors during rehearsals, and performing in ensemble roles in our mainstage productions. Additionally, understudying for company actors and attending weekly professional development classes will also be part of your responsibilities.

Job Requirements

Applicants must be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Theatre or a related field. Professional theatre experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, a strong understanding of character interpretation and a passion for performing arts. Knowledge of Italian language is preferred given the location of our main operations.
