Job Description
We are searching for an enthusiastic and qualified English Teaching Assistant to complement our qualified workforce of educators. The successful candidate will assist the lead teachers in preparing and delivering lessons, creating teaching materials and grading student’s work. In addition, they will use their knowledge and expertise to help students improve their English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Assisting with extracurricular activity organization is another aspect of this position.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in English or Education, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification or equivalent. At least one year’s teaching experience in a similar role is required. The candidate must also be bilingual English/Italian, with a strong proficiency in English spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Personal Requirements
We seek a personable and cooperative teaching assistant who can assist test preparation, handle administrative tasks and manage classroom conduct. A patient and adaptive teaching style is advantageous as is the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational and communication skills, creativity, and a passion for English language are all imperative.
