Job Description:
The Industrial Engineering Intern will be involved in a range of responsibilities including but not limited to: process improvement initiatives, efficiency analysis, project management, and creation of detailed specification drawings. You will be required to use advanced engineering models to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Furthermore, you will assist in coordinating production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules as well as participating in making strategic decisions about facility layouts and design.
Job Requirements:
Candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is desired. Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tool is preferred. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a good command of both spoken and written English. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, although not mandatory.
