Job Description

We are currently in search of a committed Education / Teaching Assistant to join our teaching team.

The main tasks of the position include:

-Assisting the teacher in managing students in the classroom and maintaining a productive learning environment.
-Supporting students with specific learning needs on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
-Preparing classroom materials and organising learning activities as per teacher’s instructions.
-Monitoring students during breaks and school activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
-Working closely with the teaching team, attending meetings and contributing to the development of effective teaching strategies.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate is expected to possess the following qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is desirable.
-Prior experience in a school or other educational setting is essential.
-Fluency in Italian and English, both written and verbal is required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
-Strong organisational and communication skills.
-Patient, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team.

Personal Requirements

The candidate should be passionate about education, creative, and capable of inspiring students to learn. A keen understanding of child development and educational best practices is necessary. The candidate should be approachable, caring, and able to build strong relationships with the students, parents, and staff.
