Internship Vacancy: Reception / Reservations
We are a globally-renowned company based in the historic city of Padua, Italy. We are currently looking for an intern to join our team focusing on Reception and Reservations tasks.
Description
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an engaging and fast-paced environment, providing support to the Reception and Reservations department.
Key tasks include:
- Assist in handling reception duties including but not limited to guest check-in and check-out, reservation, and customer inquiries.
- Help with organizing and maintaining reservation records; update status of rooms on a timely basis.
- Support in coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests.
- Perform general administrative duties such as managing emails and phone calls, managing files, etc.
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, has strong communication skills, and has the ability to multitask. As an intern, you should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of business.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration or related fields.
- Prior hospitality experience would be beneficial.
- Fluency in English and Italian; knowledge of any additional language will be an asset.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
