Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Teaching Assistant will primarily be responsible for creating a positive learning environment. The role involves, but is not limited to:

  • Supporting the lead teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans.
  • Assisting students individually or in groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Monitoring and recording students' progress, participation, and behavior.
  • Preparing classroom materials and aids for teaching.
  • Helping set up and maintain a tidy and organized classroom.
  • Attending staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
