English Teaching Assistant Position in Naples, Italy

We are a thriving languages school located in the charming city of Naples, Italy. We are currently seeking to fill the position of an English Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will support our team of seasoned educators, playing a vital role in enhancing the efficiency of our English courses and ensuring high teaching quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support lead teachers in class preparation including the organization of teaching materials and student resources.
  • Assist in classroom management and facilitate a conducive learning environment for students of different age groups and backgrounds.
  • Participate in student assessments and grading under the supervision of the lead teacher.
  • Provide individual assistance to students during class hours as well as additional tutoring on demand.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, customized training, and continuous professional development programs.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or an equivalent teaching certification.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a teaching assistant or a teacher in a similar role.
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
  • Knowledge of Italian language is a plus but not mandatory.
