Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and driven English Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support our lead English teachers in classes, assist with lesson preparation, grade student assignments, and conduct small group or one-on-one activities as needed. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be expected to maintain an enthusiastic, engaging and welcoming classroom atmosphere for students of varying proficiency levels.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Support lead teachers in teaching English to students of different proficiency levels.
- Assist in developing lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Evaluate students' classwork, assignments and papers.
- Conduct and supervise small group or individual classroom activities based on differentiated learning needs.
- Help improve students' English language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
- Maintain accurate student records including attendance, grades, and progress.

Job Requirements

- A Bachelor’s degree in Education/English or a related field.
- TEFL/TESOL certification is highly desired.
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably in a language school.
- Native or near-native English proficiency.
- Proficient in using digital tools for education.
- Excellent communication skills as well as patience and enthusiasm.
- Ability to engage with diverse student groups.
