Languages School in Naples, Italy - German Teaching Assistant
Our language school is located in the beautiful city of Naples, Italy. As a well-established institution for over 25 years, we strive to enhance linguistic skills in various languages for local students as well as international explorers. We are home to around 2000 students and host 150 faculty members from across the globe. Our prime focus is to create a congenial environment that fosters fluency and confidence in communication for all languages we teach.We are presently seeking a dynamic and engaging German Teaching Assistant to join our team.
Job Description
As a German Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:
-Assisting the lead teacher in developing lesson plans in accordance with curriculum objectives.
-Facilitating small group learning activities and providing regular feedback.
-Managing classroom dynamics and ensuring a conducive and inclusive learning environment.
-Moderating language lab sessions and practice exercises.
-Participating in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
-Grading assignments and maintaining student progress records.
Job Requirements
-A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in German Language or related field is required.
-Certification in German Language Teaching to Adults (DaF) is highly preferred.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching German at a similar level.
-Fluency in Italian and English to facilitate better classroom communication.
