Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, competent Education/Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in various forms of classroom instruction, foster high levels of student learning involvement while holding students accountable for their performance, ensuring that the values of the school are always upheld.

Responsibilities

Supporting the lead teacher in lesson preparation and delivery.
Providing extra assistance to students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Managing classroom activities, monitor student behavior and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment.
Supervising students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, during lunch and on field trips.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field.
A patient, compassionate and resilient personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with instructional methods, curriculum standards and classroom management techniques.
Experience working in international education settings is beneficial.
Proficiency in English and Italian is necessary. Ability in other languages is a plus.
