Are you a student or a young professional passionate about hospitality, looking for a unique summer experience in Italy? Join the young and dynamic team at Camping Europa Silvella on the stunning shores of Lake Garda! We're looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Intern to work between our poolside bar and our on-site restaurant. This is more than just a job; it’s a chance to immerse yourself in Italian culture, gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, and make lifelong memories.
As an F&B intern, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our international guests. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience in two different but interconnected areas: the restaurant and the pool bar. You will be part of a friendly and supportive family-run business that values its team members and is committed to your personal and professional growth. This is the perfect position for someone with a positive attitude and a passion for customer service, ready to take on a challenge and learn new skills.
Your responsibilities will be split between two main areas:
At the Restaurant: You will primarily work as a food runner, ensuring dishes are delivered quickly and accurately to our guests' tables. You'll work closely with the kitchen and serving staff to maintain a smooth flow during meal times.
At the Pool Bar: You will work as a bartender's assistant, serving drinks, preparing simple cocktails, cappuccino and espresso, and keeping the bar area clean and organized. You'll be the friendly face of the bar, interacting with guests and creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
You must be an EU citizen with a good command of English language.
Knowledge of German or Dutch is a significant advantage, as you'll be interacting with many guests from these countries.
A minimum level of experience or relevant studies in the hospitality, tourism, or food and beverage sectors is required.
You must be a team player with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
Accommodation: We provide a shared mobile home on-site for the duration of your internship.
Allowance: You will receive a monthly allowance of €800 to cover your expenses.
Contract: This is a paid internship position for a minimum of 3 months during the summer season.
Environment: You will work in a young, vibrant, and international environment where your personal development and well-being are a priority.
Ready to start your Italian adventure? Send your CV and a brief cover letter. We look forward to hearing from you!
