Job Description

The French Teaching Assistant will be tasked with, first and foremost, facilitating a dynamic learning environment that caters to each learner’s specific needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the lead French teacher in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Supporting individual students' learning processes and providing extra help when necessary
  • Maintaining accurate student attendance records and grades
  • Contributing to the creation and implementation of interactive teaching materials
  • Delivering lessons independently, when required
  • Participation in school events, workshops, and faculty meetings

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a teaching or assistant teaching role
  • Superior fluency in written and spoken French
  • An understanding of innovative teaching methodologies
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and team-working skills
