Job Description
The French Teaching Assistant will be tasked with, first and foremost, facilitating a dynamic learning environment that caters to each learner’s specific needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the lead French teacher in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
- Supporting individual students' learning processes and providing extra help when necessary
- Maintaining accurate student attendance records and grades
- Contributing to the creation and implementation of interactive teaching materials
- Delivering lessons independently, when required
- Participation in school events, workshops, and faculty meetings
Job Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a teaching or assistant teaching role
- Superior fluency in written and spoken French
- An understanding of innovative teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication, organisational, and team-working skills
