Job Description: Education / Teaching Assistant
In this role, the Education/Teaching Assistant will support our teachers' work, help children with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and clean-up
- Helping to plan learning activities and complete records
- Supporting pupils who need extra help to complete tasks
- Understanding and supporting the development of children’s personal, social, and language abilities
- Helping with school events, trips, and other extra-curricular activities
Job Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a teaching assistant or similar role
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and learning processes
- Qualification in education or relevant field is preferred
- Patience, flexibility, and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Italian is advantageous
