Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated intern to join our Reception / Reservations team in the historic city of Genoa, Italy. Bearing testament to history and splendour, Genoa is the bustling port city where thriving communities, stunning architecture and a vibrant arts scene come together to weave a rich tapestry of life.

Tasks:

  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Efficiently handle all guest queries and complaints, constantly striving to provide exceptional customer service experience.
  • Conduct the necessary booking and reservations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Uphold company's reputation by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour at all times.
  • Effective management of front desk operations including handling phone calls, correspondence, and managing reservations system.
  • Collaborate with all other departments to ensure high level of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

While no prior experience is required, the ideal candidate should be a current student or recent graduate in Hospitality Management or related discipline.

Personal Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, motivated and committed towards delivering high-quality work.
  • A keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and capacity to handle pressure.
  • Must be fluent in Italian and English. Additional language skills would be considered an asset.
